A Balanced Economy
Fixed Supply and Issuance
There will only ever be a 21 million COGS – a homage to bitcoin. Playing BeyondHuman is the equivalent of bitcoin mining. You allocate your time and brain power and you receive COGS.
Furthermore, like the bitcoin issuance mechanic (arguably a perfect model to fairly distribute a currency across a network) Beyond Human rewards early contributors. The issuance rate is highest at the start and reduces over time, until all COGS have been issued.
A Fair Opportunity
The only way you can ever acquire new COGS is by playing the game. There will never be a pre-mine of COGS and no allocation is reserved for founders, core team, investors, partners or promoters.
COGS is currently being issued at a very high rate – and only to players. So the best opportunity to build up your resources is today. As the project progresses the issuance drops, increasing scarcity and in-game value.
Economic Flow
The flow of currency in BeyondHuman starts via the issuance of COGS via Grid Game into the hands of players. It can then be transferred between players or spent in the shop. COGS received by the shop are deposited into the BeyondHuman Treasury – to be used for project development, rewards and promotion. As development progresses, this flow will become more complex and the diagram below will be updated.
